HUMAN PAPILLOMA VIRUS TEST RESULTS BY PCRDate Reported: 2/14/2008

HPV IdentificationNegative
The sample is negative for the presence of HPV DNA. These results do not exclude the possibility of HPV not detected due to sampling or assay sensitivity. This specimen tested negative for: LVX160, CP8061, CP6108, 6, 11, 16, 18, 26, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 39, 42, 43, 44, 45, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 61, 62, 64, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 72, 73, 74, 81, 82, 83, 84 and "Unknown." The presence of certain HPV types is an established risk factor for the development of cellular dysplasia or neoplasia. Identification of the specific HPV type permits the assignment of disease risk, and is important to the clinical management of the patient.

CYSTIC FIBROSIS TEST RESULTS BY PCRDate Reported: 2/14/2008

Cystic Fibrosis : Positive
for DeltaF508 mutation
This individual is heterozygous for (has one copy of) the mutation DeltaF508.  This individual is a female. As a carrier of the DeltaF508 mutation no symptoms would be expected. When this mutation is present in a CF affected individual it may be associated with severe pulmonary dysfunction and pancreatic insufficiency. (Kerem, E.; et al., The relation between genotype and phenotype in cystic fibrosis--analysis of the most common mutation (delta-F508). New Eng. J. Med. 323: 1517-1522, 1990.)

See http://www.wcpl.com/cf.asp for methodology, further considerations as well as carrier screen information regarding Cystic Fibrosis.
