HUMAN PAPILLOMA VIRUS TEST RESULTS BY PCRDate Reported: 2/20/2008

HPV IdentificationNegative
The sample is negative for the presence of HPV DNA. These results do not exclude the possibility of HPV not detected due to sampling or assay sensitivity. This specimen tested negative for: LVX160, CP8061, CP6108, 6, 11, 16, 18, 26, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 39, 42, 43, 44, 45, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 61, 62, 64, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 72, 73, 74, 81, 82, 83, 84 and "Unknown." The presence of certain HPV types is an established risk factor for the development of cellular dysplasia or neoplasia. Identification of the specific HPV type permits the assignment of disease risk, and is important to the clinical management of the patient.
