John Compagno, MD, MBA has been the Medical Director of West Coast Pathology Laboratories since 1985, promoting a policy of accuracy, service, and rapid turnaround time for patient results. Dr. Compagno is Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, and Hematopathology, and has been practicing medicine since 1975. Dr. Compagno trained in pathology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington D.C., and the Naval Regional Medical Center in Oakland, California. He received his Masters in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco in 1997. He currently serves as medical director of several clinical laboratories.

Dr. Compagno is the author of several peer reviewed publications in Anatomic Pathology and has extensive experience in GYN and non-GYN cytology, Anatomic Pathology, GI pathology, and Podiatric Pathology.
